Location and how to get here ...Cullen is just six miles’ walk along the coast from Buckie, the start of the Speyside Way. Trains between Aberdeen and Inverness run about two-hourly. Stagecoach Bluebird buses between Aberdeen and Inverness: service 10 via Elgin, Keith and Huntly, service 305 via Elgin, CULLEN, and Banff / Macduff For folk wanting to travel along the coast - there’s also the 267 from Aberdeen to Fraserburgh and the 271 is a once-a-day service linking Fraserburgh and Banff/Macduff Coming into Cullen by car: From Portsoy: Down the hill that is Cullen Main Street; turn right as soon as you go under the viaduct, you’re actually travelling straight ahead. When you come down to the harbour, bear right; 50 yards along see sign on Cullen Harbour hostel on left. From Buckie: immediately you've passed under the west end of the viaduct, turn left & follow the sea front to the harbour, travelling downhill on Seafield Street, the main thoroughfare. |
